They let me go home because the blood pressure has stabilized below 140/90 and the proteinuria is stable, at the moment almost non existent. It was +1 and now it is zero. I know that this disease will come back, but hopefully as the one nurse said to me I can "sneak in the pregnancy" unnoticed. I don't think anybody believes that I will make it to term, but then again everything is possible and why not let things be.
Wish me luck and I will keep updating.
Please, please, please be so careful. My pre-e turned into eclampsia in less than 20 minutes. I was seizing and had an 80% abruption leading to the stage 3 HIE in Xavier. I know you are being careful, I wish they had sent you home with the protein sticks so you could check daily. There is LITERALLY no time between the pain of abruption (that I am sure they told you to watch for) and the necessary delivery of the baby by emergency. I am not wanting to scare you, but this is what happened to me.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and believe that you are aware of the risks and will be on the lookout.
ReplyDeletePlease update.
So many fingers crossed for the remainder of your pregnancy to be BORING.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Can you believe how far we've come from Caleb and Aiden?!? Beautiful girls and even second babies. Unreal.
