Still going with the breastfeeding. Except now we are holding onto the boob.

  2. She is a tenacious little girl! And so beautiful too!!!

Do you think your supply is increasing? I know that for me, I pumped far less than what my baby was able to extract from me (when he was patient enough). So even though I was pumping an ounce or less per session he would sometimes take up to 3 ounces at a time from me. Do you weigh Emma after a non-SNS nursing session to see what she might be getting from you? Instead of buying a fancy scale we improvised with a small postal scale with a basket on top of it for baby to lie in.

  3. I don't weigh her but I measure how much supplement she needs, and so calculate how much she must have taken from me on average. Things are improving a bit, at night she does not need any supplement at all, and I am now able to pump about 30 ml (before it was only 20), but still no where near where it should be. I have made peace with it. But your suggestion is good, and I will weigh her before and after, in particular because it is so easy to do.

  4. That's great that nursing alone satisfies Emma at night. I had a few months like that too, and it was nice. You've kept going when many others would have given up.

Enjoy bath time with Emma! It is my little guy's favorite time of day - if he sees me start to fill the tub he gets so very excited! It's great fun to be in there with the baby, even now that he has figured out how to splash like crazy.
